My chess-set is made from reclaimed building timber from the studio, with pieces formed from hardwood offcuts from past projects.

Each piece is magnetic and snaps into place on the board. Brass elements, inlaid or attached, denote the name and starting position of each piece, with some components articulated to introduce subtle movement.
