Knights is a pair of kinetic candleholders made from hand-formed copper.

 

Each piece is cut, hammered and soldered in my studio, leaving a subtle surface texture before being patinated to a deep, dark finish.

 

Turn the handle to set the candles in motion, causing them to revolve and respond with a slow, quiet movement of flame and shadow.

 

Each Knight is hand-stamped and numbered on the base.
