Articulated Cutlery is a series of reworked utensils, cut, jointed and reassembled into moving forms. Each piece is built around a simple mechanism, introducing controlled movement into familiar objects.

The function is selective. Each utensil performs a single action: the knife spreads, the spoon scoops and the fork pierces.

Working with found cutlery keeps each piece immediately recognisable, allowing the focus to sit on movement, constraint and control.

This work was exhibited at the Goldsmiths’ Centre, London, as part of The Culture of Cutlery, 2026.
